Casting Faces

In 2026, I began a new series of work that was driven by my desire to capture true to life features and textures. What started as a simple experiment with family and friends has grown to be a unique way of connecting with strangers. Each person has a story to tell and I love connecting emotionally, energetically, and literally.

Some of the faces will be part of a larger whole to explore ideas of universal consciousness, the divine feminine, the divine masculine, and other themes relating to energy and the metaphysical. Some may end up being abstracted experiments or fun and whimsical combinations. I often do not know what I am making or what it means until it’s done but making art keeps you present as you cannot dwell on the past or plan for the future while making art. There is no other place to be.
