About Me
I love sculpting with natural materials from clay to grapevines and from driftwood to moss. They are from the earth, they are the earth, and they are wiser than all of us. While most of my work has been exploring emotions through clay portraits, I am currently experimenting with how I can use natural materials to express universal connections, emotions, and energy.
I believe that every soul has a purpose on this Earth, that we are all connected, and that we need to use our gifts and skills for the good of the world.
As an art teacher, I try to instill these values to my students by a strong commitment to the community, volunteer service projects, and allowing each student to recognize that art can be their voice.
